This project centered around the rebrand of a New York-based digital advertising agency formerly known as Ecommonics, which was transitioning into Bit by Bit. Working closely with the client throughout multiple meetings and feedback sessions, my team and I were tasked with developing a complete identity system that could reflect both the agency’s technical expertise and its emphasis on long-term, trust-based partnerships.

Our process focused heavily on understanding how the agency positioned itself internally before translating that into visual form. Through conversations around workflow, transparency, systems thinking, and growth, we developed a brand language centered around modularity, precision, and connectivity. The final system included logo development, typography, color palettes, patterns, accessibility guidelines, and a full set of brand applications and standards.

I became particularly interested in creating a system that felt highly structured without becoming visually cold. Repeated geometric forms and interconnected patterns reference data flow and scalable systems, while restrained spacing, softer color relationships, and careful hierarchy maintain a sense of clarity and approachability. Working on such an extensive guideline system strengthened my understanding of how consistency across every visual decision contributes to a brand’s overall identity and trustworthiness.
