Overstuffed is a short book about the work of Swedish designer Gustaf Westman, focusing on his distinct visual style and one of his most recognizable products, the Chunky Cup. I was drawn to the way his work feels playful, exaggerated, and instantly recognizable, and I wanted to explore how that identity was built and is carried across his practice.

For this project, I designed the layout, selected the imagery, and wrote all of the book’s content. Thinking about the writing and design together allowed me to shape the publication as a whole, using typography, composition, and image sequencing to reflect the character of Westman’s work. The final book became both a study of his design practice and an opportunity to explore editorial design through research and storytelling.
