The project considers the societal and technological shifts that would lead to the development of such a device by the year 2090. SOMA’s impact spans education, cultural institutions, and corporate environments, and explores how values around memory, emotion, and materiality evolve. This project includes a conceptual product, a marketing plan, and a tangible user manual that would accompany the device.
