Video Installation
Surroundings is a video installation I developed for a modular LED panel system at 180 Studios, using the display’s scale and luminosity to build an immersive, spatial experience. The piece is composed of a collection of short outdoor and indoor clips filmed throughout a week in London. It captures everyday moments, public spaces, friends, art, cafés, and the rhythm of the city from day to night. Set to “Dance Yrself Clean” by LCD Soundsystem, the video creates a shifting atmosphere that blends personal documentation with an ambient portrait of place. During the installation, individuals moved through the space, sitting and interacting within the environment shaped by the visuals and sound, adding a live, participatory layer to the experience.
