In Collaboration With:  Gracie O’Connell, Spencer Song, Carcyn Coleman This two-channel video installation explores the concept of plague as a form of social contagion, examining the invisible pressures of contemporary beauty standards and the performative responses they produce. Structured as a diptych, the work contrasts an intimate interior experience with a confident public presentation, highlighting the tension between private perception and outward identity.

Presented at 180 Studios, a globally recognized platform for immersive and interdisciplinary contemporary art, the installation situates these themes within a broader cultural dialogue around image, performance, and self-construction. Through the interplay of visual and musical elements, the work invites viewers to reflect on how socially imposed ideals shape behavior and self-perception, while considering what confidence might look like when freed from these expectations.
